Delivery Charge
Delivery is to the UK Mainland only, and the following options are available:
UK Mainland
Standard Delivery (3-4 days) - £2.95
Next Day - £5.95
(Note: We do not deliver to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isle of Scilly, Shetland Isles or Northern Ireland)
Delivery Method
Smaller items are dispatched by 1st class post (eg. inks), while heavier or more expensive items are usually sent by courier (eg. toners & printers).
All courier orders must to be signed for, if you aren't likely to be home then we can have the package delivered to your work address (you can specify the different delivery address during the checkout).
Dispatch Timescales
The cut-off for Next Day delivery is 15:30. 'Next Day' orders placed after 15:30 will be dispatched the next working day.
Orders are not dispatched or delivered at the weekend, except 1st class post which may be delivered on a Saturday.
There may be slight delays if an item is out of stock, but we will notify you by e-mail if the delay is more than a couple of days. All items are held in stock as standard, but we run out occasionally if there is unexpectedly high demand.

Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
You can pay by Credit/Debit Card by entering your credit/debit card details online using secure servers during checkout. The checkout process will provide you with full instructions as you go along.
When you have completed the checkout you should receive an email confirmation of order, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
Credit Card Security
If you have chosen to pay online then at the payment stage of the checkout process you will be connected to the Secure Payment Servers at Secure Trading or PROTX, two of the largest independent payment gateways in the UK. For maximum security your card details are entered and processed directly by these payment providers on their secure servers. We do not have access to your card details, and at no time are they stored on our systems.
If your card is part of the 'Verified for Visa' or 'MasterCard SecureCode' schemes then your card provider may require you to enter your '3D Secure' password during the checkout. When this happens you are typing the information directly into your card providers site, not ours.

Suitability of Goods
Goods are not sold on a trial basis.
We try our best to provide accurate information on our website, but errors can sometimes occur. We also list customer reviews and provide links to independent 3rd party reviews in order to provide you with more information about your purchase, however we have no control over the accuracy of these reviews. Therefore, customers should check product suitability and full specifications on the manufacturers website (www.brother.co.uk) before purchasing.
Returns & Cancellations
Consumers: Under the terms of the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) consumers can cancel their order by notifying us of their request in writing within 7 working days of receiving the goods. During these 7 days the DSR allows consumers to "examine the goods as they would in a shop", however once the goods have been used they may not be returned (ie. once you have broken the seals on any software, or opened the sealed bags containing the ink/toner cartridges).
Business customers: The DSR does not apply to business transactions, and returns are at our discretion only. Where a return is accepted we will charge a restocking fee of 20%, and the full cost of the original shipping charge.
In all cases you should contact us first to obtain a returns number, goods returned without a valid returns number will be rejected. We will only accept returns where the goods are returned complete, undamaged and unused. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us, including adequate insurance cover.
Faulty Goods
Faulty consumable items will be replaced within the warranty period (normally 1 year).
Goods such as labellers, printers, faxes and multifunction devices should be reported to the manufacturer for replacement or repair under the manufacturers warranty.

Privacy Policy Tao Technologies Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than for the purposes of order fulfillment (eg. we have to tell the courier company your address!). In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
